DESIGN SATURDAY

THE WEEK is almost over, but I have to go back to last weekend. Well, back to Saturday. The weather was incredibly nice and we could spend the whole day in town. And so it was. At first we stopped to see BLAF (Bratislava Art Festival) at the Slovak national gallery. There were a lot of things that caught our attention - I bought a bracelet, my sis had waffles and Hanka got a t-shirt. Also the Denamit association showed its works, so we went to see them (it was nice I have to say!). Pisztory palace was the next stop, where the Designweekend was held (please, someone, use this kind of buildings more often!). I totally fell in love with Pleasemachine shoes from Budapest, you can see my favourites in the picture above. I liked Buffet t-shirts, which I already wrote about. Or Retard wallets. Or... We ended up at six in the evening, but then I decided to go and see the BLAF Style fashion show.Yes, it was a busy day...

TÝŽDEŇ TAKMER za nami, ale ja sa vraciam k minulému víkendu. Vlastne k sobote. Vtedy bolo ešte krásne a my sme mohli behať po vonku celý deň. Tak aj bolo. Ako prvé sme sa zastavili na námestí Slovenskej národnej galérie, kde prebiehal BLAF. Zaujalo všeličo - ja som si kúpila náramok, Miška waflu, Hanka dostala tričko. Vrámci BLAF-u vystavovalo aj združenie Denamit, takže sme zbehli kuknúť aj na ich práce (páčilo sa, veľmi!). Keďže o akcie nebolo cez víkend núdze, ďalšou zastávkou bol Pisztoryho palác, ktorý ožil vďaka Dizajnvíkendu (poprosím využívať takéto krásne budovy a priestory častejšie!). Tam toho bolo! Napríklad Pleasemachine topánky z Budapešti, moje favority máte na fotke. Alebo Buffet tričká, o ktorých som vám už písala (odkaz pre Jáju - neboj, už mám svoje tričko doma!). Alebo Retard peňaženky. Alebo... Skončili sme o šiestej večer, no ja som ešte zbehla na prehliadku BLAF Style. Hej, hej, bol to náročný deň...

MY WEEKEND outfit - trendy but comfy. We walked a lot, so I put on my still warm (I mean new) Converse. Since monday I´m at work, I can´t wear them there, wrrr. Never mind, I wear other nice things...

VÍKENDOVÝ outfit - trendy, ale pohodlný. Veľa sme sa nachodili, tak som vytiahla svoje ešte teplé (rozumej nové) conversy. Od pondelka som v robote, tam ich nosiť nemôžem, wrrr. Nevadí, nosím iné pekné veci...

SLÁVICA OPENING

LAST WEEKEND was full of nice things and design. Let´s start from the beginning, on friday night. Ivica Sláviková (model and now also an actress) finally opened her long-awaited design shop Slávica. It was a nice evening. A lot of kind people, good mood, good music, tasty food (made by my sister) and even cotton candy! And now a bit about the shop... You can find there clothes, accessories, bags or ceramics from more than 25 designers. The little shop is very nice and cozy. You know, it´s always better to see it, so let´s visit Slávica in KC Dunaj on Nedbalova street in Bratislava...

UPLYNULÝ víkend bol plný krásnych vecí a dizajnu. Začneme ale poporiadku, v piatok večer. Ivica Sláviková (modelka a teraz už tak trochu aj herečka) otvárala svoj dlhoočakávaný dizajnový obchodík Slávica. Príjemne tam bolo. Kopec milých ľudí, dobrá nálada, dobrá hudba, dobré jedlo (od Mišky) a dokonca aj cukrová vata! A aspoň v skratke k obchodu... Môžete v ňom nájsť veci od viac ako 25 dizajnérov, od oblečenia, cez bižutériu, tašky až po keramiku. Samotný obchodík je veľmi pekne spravený a útulný. Čo vám budem hovoriť, choďte sa presvedčiť do KC Dunaj na Nedbalovej v Bratislave, kde na vás bude čakať možno aj samotná Slávica...

BUFFET

BUFFET. I guess most of you have no idea that such a brand exists. Ok, now you know. It isn´t new on slovak market, but after launching the newest collection it will become better known I think. Guys that stand behind this brand cooperated with various painters, graphic designers and photographers and created a quite nice collection full of funny t-shirts. Right now you can see it on Design weekend in Bratislava (just till tomorrow) or click on their page (new collection will be there soon  it´s already there, go and have a look!)... What do you think? I already have my "fox" t-shirt ;) .

BUFFET. Tipujem, že väčšina z vás ani len netušíte, že táto značka existuje. Ok, už viete. Na slovenskom trhu už chvíľku existujú, ale myslím že po uvedení najnovšej kolekcie začnú mútiť vody. V spolupráci s maliarmi, grafickými dizajnérmi či fotografmi vytvorili vcelku milú kolekciu plnú vtipných tričiek. Momentálne si ich môžete pozrieť na Dizajnvíkende v Pisztoryho paláci (šup, šup, už len do zajtra) alebo na ich stránke (kde však nová kolekcia nafotená ešte nie je  už tam je, kuknite!)... U mňa dobre, ja už svoje tričko s líškou rezervované mám ;) .

PARIS BLUE

HERE YOU are! Photos from wedding number 2. As I said before (here), I was on two weddings in one day few weeks ago. Yes, I wore a different dress. No, I´m not crazy. This wedding was less formal so the red dress I wore for the first wedding wasn´t appropriate. It was my friend that got married, we know each other for about nine years and the wedding was sooo nice and unique. It took place in the garden of bride´s parents, there were lights hanging on trees, home-made food, great live band and everything in style of the 20-ties (even newlyweds were dressed in that style!). The only negative thing was that we had to leave after two hours...
Btw the dress I wore is made by my friend Mirča, who will hopefully make more dresses soon. Cause I like mine a lot ;) .

NECH SA páči! Fotky zo svadby č.2. Ako som už spomínala tu, pred pár týždňami som stihla dve svadby v jedeň deň. Áno, vystriedala som šaty. Nie, nepreplo mi. Keďže táto svadba bola menej formálnejšia, červené šaty z prvej svadby sa sem veľmi nehodili. Ženil sa môj kamarát, poznáme sa tuším deväť rokov a svadba bola naozaj krásna a jedinečná. U nevestinych rodičov na záhrade, so svetielkami povešanými na stromoch, domácim jedlom, skvelou kapelou, v štýle 20-tych rokov (v tomto štýle boli aj šaty a oblek mladomanželov!). Jediné mínus bolo, že sme museli po dvoch hodinách odísť...
Mimochodom šaty, čo mám na sebe šila ešte pred dvoma rokmi moja kamoška Mirča, ktorá snáď už čoskoro začne šiť šaty vo väčšom množstve. Lebo tieto moje mám naozaj rada ;) .
